The location of the site on a medium topographic level creates opportunities and problems. The height difference makes the site separate from both Arab and Jewish neighborhoods, but the boundaries including the retaining wall and the hill make the site inaccessible and uninviting. Further, the location of the Jewish neighborhood on the hills and the Arab neighborhoods in the valleys reinforces and reminds of the fight for domination in the city.
