Visual

This collage shows the visual experience of the site. The pictures are arranged according to the site plan, and they highlight views as well as barriers encountered while transvering the site. The top of the collage is the South, and the bottom is the North. In the North, the Jewish institutional buildings look down onto the site, while in the South, the site overlooks the Arab neighborhood of Wadi Joz. Interestingly, in the Arab neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrach, a Jewish holy site is located, causing an interesting overlay of cultures in one street. The Ministry of the interior is menacing with its many levels of security, and private homes on the site have large baricading walls. Additionally, the road at the north of the site is raised and its high retaining walls become a large obstacle to movement.
